My journey with photography began as a teenager, when noticing moments in greater detail, even the mundane ones, kept me curious. Born & raised in The Bronx, I believe photography followed me throughout my life, especially growing up with my dad who used to always capture moments with his Fujifilm and too many film cameras to count. My dad has always taught me the importance of keeping memories. The moment I found a love for photographing was in high school and was gifted my first camera. During this time, I also began my relationship with Jesus. As I got closer to God the more I realized the beauty around was created by Him alone. Constantly finding myself in awe of God’s workmanship the words “capturing all things created” became the mantra that motivates every photo & every connection. A reminder that He is the potter and you & I are the clay (Isaiah 64:8)
For over a decade, my lens has been a space that helped me stay in touch with core memories that shape my story; my hope is that it does the same for you. Every click of the shutter led to this moment; where weaving together stories that share in the love, joy, and miracles that surround those who step in front of my lens became a ministry.
